Opulent, oily, honeyed.
Road 13 is a strong proponent of Rhone Valley grape varieties They aren't the only ones doing so, but they are doing it with enthusiasm.
The VRM is an acronym for Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and the grapes are harvested from the Blind Creek Vineyard in the southerly Similkameen Valley.
Golden-hued and potent, it offers honey, lanolin, ripe peach and mango aromas melded with conifer and vanilla and smokey and sweaty undertones. The palate is intense and boozy, golden and tropical fruits are weighted with honeyed flavours. Creamy and oily it's a concentrated and lengthy wine.
